Associate Attorney, Adam J. Ondo

Adam J. Ondo was raised in Missouri and Texas. He obtained his undergraduate degree, with dual majors in History and Geology, from the University of Rochester. While working on that degree, Mr. Ondo interned for the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. After graduating with his Bachelor of Arts, Mr. Ondo returned to Texas to attend law school at Texas Tech University. He worked tirelessly to be able to graduate summa cum laude while also serving as Comment Editor on the Texas Tech Law Review.
After law school, Mr. Ondo moved to Idaho to work as a law clerk for the Hon. Sergio A. Gutierrez of the Idaho Court of Appeals, learning the intricacies of appellate work. After passing the bar exam in 2017, Mr. Ondo became licensed in Idaho, eventually moving to Twin Falls to work with the firm of Hilverda McRae, where he handled an assortment of criminal and civil cases. While at Hilverda McRae, he gained valuable litigation experience before both judges and juries. Most recently, Mr. Ondo worked as a public defender in Twin Falls, representing parents in Child Protective Act cases and defending the accused in criminal cases that were likely to go to trial. Since joining Tatum Wysocki Law, P.C., Mr. Ondo has focused his practice on the following types of litigation: criminal, Child Protective Act, civil protection order, and firearms rights restoration. Mr. Ondo is also well-versed in appellate work, having handled over forty criminal and Child Protection Act appeals, arguing before the Idaho Supreme Court on two of those occasions. Additionally, Mr. Ondo is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
In his spare time, Mr. Ondo enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling the world with his wife. Mr. Ondo also competes in numerous shooting sports and writes articles for multiple publications on the topic of restoring gun rights. He has also previously taught the legal portion of an Enhanced Concealed Weapons License class.
